The GPS test program provided by the GPS manufacturer runs ok when both USB serial ports are present.
I have also tried changing the FTDI com port to COM 5, while keeping the GPS on COM 3. It seems to point the COM3 as the GPS device. I have checked the Stellarium config.ini.
Details of the configuration I have are:įTDI serial port (the non GPS port): COM1
If there is another USB serial port in the system, attempts to obtain location using the GPS device fail. Kudos on the release of 0.18.0! Looking forward to more fully checking it out! I have come upon a couple of difficulties using Stellarium with a GPS device:ġ) When the GPS device is the only USB serial port, obtaining the location from the GPS works well.
